Making a Difference
If you could change the world, where would you start?  Would you begin next door?  Across the street?  Around the world?  Rotarians are committed to making their communities, their countries, and their world a better place to live through volunteering their time, talents, and resources.

Each Rotary Club is unique and pursues different paths as they make a difference in their communities.  Rotarians represent a variety of professions and walks of life. 

Service Above Self
The motto for Rotary International is Service Above Self.  Rotarians work locally and internationally to provide a variety of humanitarian and educational services.  They combat hunger, improve health and sanitation, provide educational opportunities, support cultural and historical activities, and work to eradicate polio.

Rotary and Youth
Rotary clubs are made up of volunteers committed to service.  Rotary youth programs promote community service and encourage personal growth, leadership development, career development and mentoring.

Over 1.2 million Rotarians in more than 32,000 clubs create an extensive network that provides support for youth and other programs.  Rotary emphasizes high ethical standards, and works toward peace and understanding in the world.

A Place to Learn
Rotary is a place to learn.  Each week clubs invite speakers representing a wide variety of subjects to share about what they do, what their organization represents, or about other interesting topics. 

Fun and Fellowship
Rotary is also about fun and fellowship.  Each meeting includes lots of laughs – planned or otherwise.  Various social functions are organized throughout the year.
